A heavy indica with spicy, gassy, resin incense nose, “Dankincense” is a ceremonial grade smoke whether in bong, joint, or hash. The nug is very soft and gooey, on the looser side, perfect for hashing. Hash makers will indeed be rewarded with great yields of truly spectacular hash. She’s a fast finisher but we encourage growers to avoid the temptation to fertilize as heavily as they may be accustomed to with this one if grown in the open outdoors or in a greenhouse without ventilation. Cooler damp weather in September will cause much less mold if she’s kept a bit hungry.

‘Dankincense’ was the internal moniker at The Humboldt Seed Company mothership in 2019 for a group of cousins in the garden, the family of plants also referred to as Venom OG, Benom, All Gas OG, and Asphalt plant. This group of plants stands apart as intensely gassy and very early, usually the first photoperiod to finish in the garden. Seed and Soil “Dankincense” has diverged slightly from the recent improvements in nug density that you will find in The Humboldt Seed Company’s “All Gas OG” which we also produced in 2021. For the “Dankincense” we have instead selected for earliness and a pungent aroma of spice and gas, reminiscent of frankincense resin. We allowed our regular (non-feminized) version of Dankincense to be pollinated by a larger than usual group of selected males; since this line is sufficiently inbred to be stable for its characteristic aroma, the increase in individuals used for pollination should retain its great vigor and improve adaptability to our climate in the long run.
