An autoflower for 44 N, “Katahdin Chem Auto” presents the myriad possibilities from the union of Creme de la Chem Auto with Magic Melon Auto. The Creme de la Chem was one of the first to clobber old heads who doubted the potential of autoflowers with its potent stony high (like the angular granite boulders on Mount Katahdin’s peak), but its peak potential is achieved indoors. Meanwhile Magic Melon is the result of many outdoor seasons of selection for plant architecture, flower structure, and vigor from large populations. We had a sizable population of the first generation (F1) of this cross to choose from. This release is the offspring of two feminized pollen parents selected for vigor, and two seed parents selected from dozens of contenders who shined for eye-watering gassy, ‘chem’y, lemon aroma and fiendish vigor. Gardeners will certainly see the high variability in this F2 population, but we are confident that these babies will have your neighbors peeking over the fence wondering what smells so dank as early as early August! Indeed, this is a limited retail release of our own internal breeding population and not available in bulk to commercial growers. Enjoy!
